The good thing is at least he’s making it easy chose not to resign him. I never wanted to resign him but was worried because he seemed to be Stone’s unicorn.

Definitely not the guy the rockets should be looking to lock up for the next 4 years for 20+ mill a year
i see the need for every team but I’m not sure I wanna give up Robert Williams in that package. in fact I feel he should be playing more and on a side note it’s too early to trade nesmith. He’s looked lost but he’s barely got to play and he’s a rookie. I’d give him time before I sold him for so low or hold out for a better return
Nope! Westbrook got traded for Chris Paul, 2 FRP’s and 2 FRP’s swaps! The way things are going, we’ll be lucky to get 1FRP for Dippo.... After a 8 horrible shooting games, when is it ok to call a slump a trend?? ....... ....... .......
Vic 2 Knicks for Toppin, D.Smith Jr, and 1st. https://www.inquisitr.com/6472651/knicks-victor-oladipo-trade-idea/
He’s playing like a number one option here right now because we don’t have a clear pecking order and clearly is ill suited for that amount of offensive responsibility. In Boston for example he would know that Tatum and Brown eat first and he would be able to play off of them and capitalize off the attention they receive. Same in Miami with Bam and Butler. In Philly, it’s Embiid and Harris. I honestly think he’d look much better in those situations. We’re clearly giving him the freedom to take on a larger offensive load to evaluate his fit here long term and also make him happy by not forcing him to play under constraints while he’s seeking a contract, but this just doesn’t seem to be the strength of his game. He’s not showing that he can up his usage and do so efficiently. Harden was an outlier in that respect when he came from OKC. All that being said... TRADE HIM. He’s a piece you add and willingly pay if you’re ready to contend.
I wonder if his bad play will diminish his value. This was the perfect stat padding game for him and he failed. Maybe we trot him out if we're getting blown out so he can score a bunch against bench players and then start making offers with a guy who just had a 40 point game. We need one of those to get people excited again about his value.
Dipo right now almost doesn't seem part of the team. It's like when James was here but he obviously wanted to get traded. Dipo seems more like he's playing for a contract or playing to go to Miami and is using Houston to get there. If he played within the team and played bad then we would still be good but instead it always looks like he's playing selfishly outside of the team. The other thing is that everyone says he's the nicest guy but he always comes off like "you better not bench me" even when he sucks and is costing the team. Hopefully he will turn it around
