I Well that’s easy to answer, when you look at our roster one glaring weakness stands out.....no guards! Hard to say with a straight face. This is like an NFL team stockpiling QB’s. Knowing some team is going to need a guard to trade for somewhere down the line.
Obviously you missed the rise and fall of what was the Otto Porter Movement. @D-rock still has time to form his own cult though
Same deal with Jarret Allen. We have a 5 (Wood) and a backup 5 (Boogie). We need a 4 who can rebound and guard the perimeter, not a guy who clogs the lane for Wall.
EG & Oladipo for Herro + a few picks EG is playing good, but the man is 32 with injury history. No team is going to give up much for him to be realistic I’d try to get him and Vic off the payroll and get a young baller like Herro
The first,Miami maybe want Oladipo, but they will not take out of EG; The second, they will not give up Herro + a few picks, maybe some young player + one first round pick; The third, we would trade Oladipo to anywhere not Miami if there is other choice
Any chance we gibe up half the draft capital we got from Harden (2 firsts maybe one of the "good" Brooklyn picks) and Oladipo for Lavine? He's awful defensively but that's not what we need right now :/
For some reason I can't edit my above comment to include this.. Rockets get Zach Lavine, Christiano Felicio (into Harden TPE) Miami get PJ Tucker, Victor Oladipo, Mil 2022 FRP via Houston Bulls get Meyers Leonard, Kelly Olynyk, Tyler Herro and Nets 2022 FRP via Houston Don't know if Miami value Herro more than that. And if that's the line then you draw it and move on. Maybe look for another team that could use Dipo and add those assets to a Lavine trade. If WCJ thinks he's a PF and not a Center (his words not mine) then having some.. decent.. :/ 5s to help out there would be good I guess.
Lavine or Beal is good player, but No way the Houston will want such kind of player like Lavine or Beal
So CF hates Ben Simmons but is okay with less talented Lonzo Ball? Not understanding why CF keeps proposing trades for more guards. Rockets already have too many guards. Especially while Rockets only have 2 playable guys over 6'6.
I'd love Mo Bamba. There's just no way that he can't be good with that wingspan as a former 6th overall pick, right? You watch a lot more magic to know, is he any good?
Ball is a more capable shooter but i agree with you. I think the reason why people want him is the same as why we acquired Porter Jr. Value is very low, upside is pretty high. Simmons' value wasn't low, upside is limited due to his shot.
This is the first AG trade you proposed that i like. I'm fine with giving up Oladipo for Nance, AG and Bamba. I don't even think we need that FRP to make it fair. And the best thing: we get rid of house There's zero chance we get Isaac, right?
Bamba has a whopping 17.8 PER this season. He is a career 33% from 3P. Bamba needs a mentor like Tucker to teach how to read and call defenses.
