Is this the best we could do? I am a lot disappointed.

If Kyrie continues to implode... how do you move him? You have no frps to attach to a negative contract... not really much in the way of young expendable talent...
Not gonna have capspace to bring in help...

This could really blow up in their faces... and its the Nyets - so it very well may... lol

An unprotected 2022 pick ain’t bad man. I know it’s easy to assume Milwaukee will be good next season, but if they go out again this year before the ECF, wouldn’t be surprised if Giannis rumors start heating up. Things change very fast in the NBA.

Kyrie is the most important asset in the league- for the Rockets.

    He shouldn't retire.
He should remain with BKN and work undercover to lead them to their demise.

Rockets got a bad deal but we thank Harden and Tilman probably for that. I’m all for a trade of that diva, but not for this. Say what you want though: Rockets come out of this as bosses in terms of not caving anymore to Harden’s bullshit and Stone still sent him to his favoured destination despite the quitting. We should be respected for how we handled this.

Westbrook? The guy that was appalled by the pandering to Blames that was happening here?

Although I'm not happy with the return for Harden in this trade I understand that the Rockets' hands were forced after Harden's poor showing in the last few games and his post game comments last night.

I enjoyed watching Harden play over the years. There were some magic moments along with some post season disappointments. No question he's one of the best offensive players the game has ever seen. I wish him best luck in BRK.

As for the Rockets the first round picks and swaps we got are going to be very late first rounders for the next few years but could turn to gold as we go past 2025. The best case scenario would be three straight high lottery picks down the road. At the worst we have some more trade assets in our hands.

Oladipo is a one year stop-gap keeping the team from being completely terrible this year as OKC would get our pick in a swap. His contract goes off the book next summer. If we are lucky we maybe able to flip him for another pick at the trade deadline.

The Rockets have every reason to win as many games as they can this year not only because they don't own their first round pick but also because they can increase the trade values of their players with a winning record. Ideally you want to see Wall have a great season and be a tradeable asset next summer. So let's root for them to win this year.

Let's save cap space to sign KD when he opts out. Then those picks and swaps will look real good, and we can flip them for another all-star. Let the conspiracy theories begin!

And if Giannis stays it will be the last pick. It's terrible trade and another salary dump to save money. Prince and Allen could fill our two biggest weaknesses if we trying to win and we just dumped them for Luxury Tax Savings.

No because if Kyrie is traded to some small market team he will retire.
He is almost retired already and he had KD as his teammate in New York.

Even as much of a headcase Irving is, Westbrook is a much worse fit. Kyrie can shoot at least. So I hope they do it.

    I hope he comes back.

Harden-KD could win a title by themselves.

We really need Kyrie to come back, he had issues being 2nd option to Lebron so he's going to create a stink being 3rd fiddle.
