True! It’s so frustrating though I still cannot believe we were really poor during the 93-94 season with our big ass front line! I still blame Morey for not signing Reddick and not even looking at guys like Seth Curry. We had enough defense to hide both!

Right...it actually hasn’t worked. We just had a great star for the regular season who carried us through out all the awful shooting nights. Rather guys shoot a high percentage on 2s than bad on 3s. If you have JJ, Curry or even Gerald Green then sure let them bomb away but Nwaba, Tucker, Tate, Wall or even Harden? No thanks.

Ummm yes it has? And we have that great star now so you dont have any excuses not to take these shots. Harden sets people up a lot for open 3s. Tucker needs to take more corner threes because THAT is a great shot.

    It's John Lucas time.

Lucas needs to get back to developing shooters, he has not added much to team by moving up the bench.

Reddick chose to take the ridiculous 1 year contract with 6ers.

Morey and CP3 were recruiting him hard.

Why do you have to make stuff up just because you dont like Morey?

JJ mentioned he was going to sign here, but Morey changed the number of years from 4 to 3. Not making anything up. Had we paid, he would have been a Rocket.

He was also afraid that he might end up being traded because of how Morey operates.

Yeah and that 1 year for 23M was a hell of a lot better than 3 years for just above vet min.

Very few players shoot 2s at a high percentage. Thats the reason why its such a bad shot.

Theres a few reasons why its hard to get good 3 pt shooting, the main one is that the price jumps a lot from 35% 3 pt shooter to 40% 3 pt shooter. 35% 3 pt shooter cost just vet min, 38% 3 pt shooter will cost you 12M and 40% 3 pt shooter is EG money already (15M+), if he got defense then he might cost you max.

With the way Morey and Stone built the Rockets we basically have 2 max dudes in the team at all times (Harden and EG+Ryno/Cp3/WB/Wall) so theres never really enough space to sign elite 3 pt shooters. We got to settle for finding diamonds in the rough like Ben Mac.

Man if he could shoot he would be the perfect player for us but he misses way too many open 3s.

Rivers, Jeff Green, House/Gordon, Mclemore, Thabo?, Carroll?... it really trails off after this. Arguably the worst bench in the Harden era and the worst since the Tmac Jazz series where only 4 players scored in a game. Not only do we have better depth but we have a coach that seems like he will use them and develop them.
