Taking the ball out of Hardens hands is absolutely silly. He’s the best scorer in the league and arguably the best playmaker in the league. Pairing him with John Wall was and will always be a disaster. Put the proper people around him and stop changing the offense. Stop trying to change one of the two best players in the leagues game. ISO basketball with James Harden wins and it creates the proper looks for guys to hit shots.

Get the man some dudes who can shoot consistently and who actually can play defense. That 17-18 season we were so dominant because Harden and CP3 were unstoppable and we had guys who knew their role and could hit the open 3s that were created for them. People might not like that ISO heavy offense. It’s not pretty but with Harden it’s dominant as ****.

Clutchfans just needed a reason. The debauchery in the bubble was enough.

that's wild how all the good stuff harden was doing before tonight is completely forgotten because he chose to play a game with a sprained ankle

they really switch up on you fast.

    Yeah, Wall isn't Westbrook.

In fact, he is a rational and defensive Westbrook with lesser skills.

I did. I'm wondering if you did. And, it does tell the story.
12:00 of the 4th quarter. Harden goes out. Rockets were down 84-77. Harden comes back in at 7:43 of the 4th...Rockets down by 2. Then his lineup proceeds to get blown out...hence the horrible +/-

Same thing happened in the 2nd quarter.

He needs to use the reg season to build habits so elite teams can't stop our offense with elementary school traps.

Yes at one point in third quarter Rockets were down by 16, wall goes out, Harden 5 out cuts that lead down to 7. Wall comes in, cuts it to 2. Harden comes in it all falls apart but that was also without 5-out.

He is willing to endanger the team and ruin Tyson Chandler's family for selfish reasons.

That should have told you that he has a low motor.

He is the best SF right now because the team got no other real SFs.

Huh? He clearly doesn't mind spotting-up for us. He's done it time and time again. He did it for CP3 and he did it for Westbrook. He doesn't mind doing it if the other PG is carrying and having a good game. Wall had a poor game tonight, so Harden couldn't just spot-up. If Wall isn't scoring or shooting that well, they don't need to double him, which means that Harden won't have open looks. Guarantee you that if Wall was on a hot streak and scoring well, Harden would have let him take over and just spot-up.

The first half officiating was an abomination. They should've gotten Td up.

The offense is really not all that different from last seasons offense.

Main difference is off ball, players are cutting and setting picks off ball.

And Rockets played similar hybrid defense early last season too. And they were ass playing it just like now.

They just need to give minutes to Tate and less to Tucker!

And what has harden or that system won us.

The way harden plays and that kind of system will never win a championship.

And I didn’t say that Kobe did.

It has to be the court and lighting, I don't know. It really makes no sense.

He has to be top 3 all-time Rockets killer. He just casually dropped 30 on us as if he was Durant.

PJ plays great D but in this offense players need to be drivers and do all that random sh*t Silas is talking bout. PJ can't be in the starting lineup when he cant do all that stuff. MDA's offense put the corner 3 at a premium, Silas' offense is doing none of that.

Silas may have to stop the respectability starts for PJ.

Silas says he doesn't have a timetable on when Danuel House will be able to return

Stephen Silas said he was disappointed in the Rockets offensive effort

"I would've liked to see more stuff, more actions."- Silas on the offense

Silas said the gameplan was to make Tim Hardaway Jr put the ball on the floor, "When he's allowed to just catch and shoot, we were close to him, but we didn't make him put the ball on the floor, and he got into rhythm tonight."

"We just hung in there, we didn't try to take full advantage and try to show full dominance throughout the game."- Eric Gordon
