    I need to watch the preseason games where Cousins plays. We are gonna rely on him ao much inside. Woods D and rebounding is a concern.

    We hadn't played them without Capela till now.....and we certainly never played them missing 6 players before.

    Only team in the NBA without 4 rotation players. including their best ball handler/passer, best shooter, best scorer off the bench, and 2nd string big man.

    Wood was never known to be great defender/rebounder YET. That will come in time as long as he continues to put in the work. The kid is still in his mid 20s. I'm sure he will get better like when he improved his offensive game.

    The frustrating part of this start is it’s clear to me we should be 2-0. If everyone is available, we win both of these games.

    Covington could handle it a lot better than Wood as he is a vastly superior defender. I understand why the Rockets made the trade and choose Wood, he is a vastly superior offensive player.

    However this is going to be an ongoing problem for the Rockets. The perimeter defense will be very good (assuming they go back to switching 90% of the time). The interior defense is going to be one of the worst in the NBA without a trade. Tucker isn’t as good a fit with new personnel and Wood is a poor defender without another long strong defender inside. The Rockets don’t even have a long defensive 3 to slide over on switches and help Wood.... right now it is a recipe for disaster against teams that have any decent size inside.

    I don’t know how married Tucker and Harden are, but Tucker is looking more like the odd man odd that can be used to trade for the type of 4 the Rockets need.

    Turnovers was a large part of the problem too. Need some better ball handlers in the game.

    House problem is he has lost his role identity under Silas. John Wall and Gordon will help his play. The team needs more practice. When they get to January the play will pickup. Broderick Thomas is not ready yet. Gerald Green could help the completed version of this team

    Wood with only 3 rebounds is not good at all.. He will get points but he better focus on rebounding and just running fast.
