    This is the best ambient/electronic album ever recorded, in my opinion. I've probably listened to it a million times.

    Man, I forgot about this one since I was going only by CD format!! But, yea this one is right up there for me. Thanks for reminding me about it, Bob.

    Sure - after all "Substance" can be argued to be a compilation CD.

    Yea, the things that Richard James has done have absolutely blown my mind! It took a while to appreciate this one due to the lack of beats as it made some tracks to be very unsettling. I think it is track #11 on the first disc, but every time I hear that one, I think how that track reminds me of something that Ligeti or Penderecki would have done and that it could easily have been in "The Shining".

    True story but I was listening to SAW, VII, on headphones and dozed off right before that track came on. When that track came on, I literally jumped up as it truly scared the **** out of me!

    george harrison's all things must pass. for me personally, i think its better than all but 2 or 3 beatles albums.

    stones exile on main street is definately my favorite double album and probably a top 10 all timer.

    miles davis-big fun-double album, plus my favorite miles record.
