Rival Execs Want NBA To Intervene On James Harden Situation

I am hoping too.....but I think we might never see Harden as a Rocket again

You silly sh its you just traded Westbrook for garbage and than act surprised when james gets mad and decides to hold out . Westbrook is on a entire different level of talent compared to wall . Rockets have had a terrible off season . Harden wanted out before the Westbrook trade than the team trades Westbrook for nothing and you think that’s going to motivate James . I wouldn’t want to risk injury to play for a non playoff team either. How is this hard to understand

 

He’s going to eventually show up. I don’t think we will ever see the fun, locked in Harden in a Rockets uniform again though. It’s a sad time

I want Harden stay, but as far as player empowerment, the buck didn't stop with Lebron or KD, but when Harden showed interest... then rival GMs be like the 'buck must stop!".

Who are these GMs, are they fringe team that don't want further concentration of power (understandable). Or are they contending teams (like Lakers; who don't want Brooklyn to challenge their repeats)

Harden has 2 years on his contract. That's why the owners are upset and scared. Players don't typically hold this much leverage with that much time left.

Only Bill O'brien thinks that a player holds leverage with 2 years left on a contract.

Nothing out of the ordinary. Small market teams have been complaining about player empowerment ever since Lebron left CLE for MIA. It was a huge issue when PG wanted out, a huge issue when Butler wanted out and teams raised the biggest stink when AD wanted out.

 

But I don't understand why someone supporting Trump would be offensive to a black player?

 

These rival executives would change their tone so quickly if they found out they had a chance to get Harden on their team. They're only piling on us because they so desperately want to see us trade him for chump change.

I read it more as they don't want players in the league (ie: players on their own roster) to feel like they have the power to say F this multi-year contract that's left to run, you do as I want or I throw a tantrum.
