Switching to vegan helped players before. And there was also the fact that his shooting had just taking a dip from normal and would return the next season. WHY would we trade for the worst player? There were plenty of people beforehand who knew Westbrook was a bad fit. Dude just came off shooting below 5o TS%(again lol) in the playoffs and got thrashed by Lillard. There were plenty of reasons to believe his sub par shooting the year before was an anomaly. There were PLENTY of people who didn't want to trade for Westbrook and that includes. Morey.

Also @Nook has said many maany times, that he told Harden the trade wasnt happening and he was fine with it. But TILLMAN is the one who forced it through.

    https://rocketswire.usatoday.com/20...tta-tells-final-hours-of-paul-westbrook-deal/

It was a stupid AWFUL AWFUL trade that never should have been done. We gave up pick swaps because Presti was giving up his franchise player and wanted to get assets. But Morey knew we were getting screwed with this deal which is why he and many of us on here didnt like this deal.

It was a dumb deal for a worse player which we did not need to do.

The NBA has to recoup their losses while not making it too obvious, hence the Knicks situation. You can expect the Lakers to win no matter what the next couple of years.

Didn’t Tillman call Paul’s contract the worst deal ever made in pro sports?

I hope Beal doesn’t have Oladipo-like results next to Russ.

The worst part about all of this is 99% of us fans and the organization knew it was a terrible fit. 1 man thought it would work and unfortunately for us it was the owner.

Can’t wait till the season starts. So I don’t have to keep seeing idiots still call him “WB”.

I don't disagree with any of that but gordon gives us 80 percent of that and is a much better defender and finisher at 7 million less a year.

There is a reason Hield is being shopped, I don't see the value in that contract or giving up 2 rotation players and draft choices for him, that's insane. Heild cannot consistently create is own shot and how would he do once Harden is off the court?

Hield has been "consistently" good for 2 years on a bad team and still could not score over 20 being the focus point of the offense.

I would fully agree of we were talking about 6th MOTY Gordon, on 3-point shooting champ Gordon, or beat Philly at the buzzer Gordon. We haven't seen that Gordon in a while, we've seen flashes, but that Gordon was consistent. I'm tired of seeing teams that a world beaters on good days and 0-27 from 3 on bad days. I want some consistency. I want a sniper.

This team is already all in, I don't really mind a few more draft picks if gets us a real shooter, not a streak shooter. Hield could be really good on this team.

I wouldn't worry about beal getting his numbers/touches with WB.

The last two stars he played with did just fine (harden/pg) in that regard.

What WAS fans might need to worry about is the development of rui and the other young players.
