    he is a pug-faced douche and cant run again anyway, but he should apologize. hopefully this will be used against him if he ever runs for public office again.

    however, this is not as embarrassing as him declaring a taco war on san antonio a few years ago. that just made all austinites look bad.

    The hypocrites absolutely need to be excoriated publicly, but I don't think it's remotely questionable which group has done more to hinder containment of COVID.

    Democrats don't bend themselves into pretzels condoning bad behavior, all of these officials have been called out, do you see anyone taking up for them?

    Must everything come down to democrats and republicans can't we just call out bad behavior when we see it?

    I agree. It was a stupid thing for Adler to do, but other than this act of political self-flagellation, he's been a damn good mayor to have during the pandemic. Mayor Adler should do a mea culpa and apologize. Compared to Abbott, Patrick and Paxton's incredible incompetence, however, Adler has been positively brilliant during the COVID-19 crisis.
