Those that are 'concerned', like Senator and Theus this should calm you:

Comrade Xi and Comrade Putin, together, are more terrified at Biden coming at them for their Human righs failures than at anytime in the past 4 years. The usual suspects clasping their pearl necklaces in this forum is a little entertaining.

Here are both Comrades sharing their worries over a conference
    https://asia.nikkei.com/Politics/International-relations/Xi-and-Putin-slam-foreign-interference-with-eye-on-Biden

Me thinks it's all a farce, if you are against what Xi is doing with those concentration camps then you would retaliate against the Muslim Ban or the 660+ brown kids that were conveniently lost here.

China has been blocking imports from Australia for a few months now due to politics.

    Australia's main exports are mined.

Ag actually plays a smaller part but even so the UK are eying Australia as a trade partner as they prepare for Brexit. The farming and food safety standards are different to US produce which is currently unacceptable in the UK.

I'm guessing Australia signing up for this new agreement is part of lifting those restrictions. True the UK is looking to Australia and New Zealand but the PRC market is far greater than UK. Australia in the last 12 years has been booming and busting due to the Chinese demand for resources.

NZ is a major producer of things like meat and dairy. From my own direct experience in Asia much of those products along with things like apples primarily come from NZ. The US is in direct competition for those markets with NZ.

Even Brasil depends more on China now than ever. China isn't going anywhere and the reason the right is hating on them is not about the slave labor or human rights. It's because Trump is putting on a show where he hates China, though every level headed person knows, he'll be going back to Xi, there is too much $ there. I hear Ivanka is doing spas now.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/11/16/rce...ing-china-sign-worlds-largest-trade-deal.html

    "
Analystsaid economic benefits from the mega trade pact are modest and would take years to materialize."

It's not the biggest deal right now, but it does show that the counties in east asia and Pacific, including.west friendly ones like aus, nz, japan and s korea are signaling if the US is looking to take our influence in the region for granted, they'll happily play ball with china.

The irony of people like you who hate China so much, yet support policies that help China. It's incredibly stupidity that goes all the way from Trump to the rabid followers like yourself. Or maybe Trump is getting paid off by China to take these actions - at least then he wouldn't be stupid.

Australia doesn't need China anymore. The mining boom for iron ore is over. Like how the rest of the world are seeing things. India and its growing middle class has become the new China for trade. Plus it's where Australia is dumping its coal now.

i remember an incident from a Asia-Pacific? conference back when Clinton was in charge and attended. The US were caught spying on a closed door trade meeting between China & Australia at some embassy. The Chinese were furious. However, in the end the US actually won that trade deal with China.

They are deforesting the Amazon in the process.

I have been hating them since the 70s, it shows me how much you know about these evil bastards. Every freaking president since Nixon( who started it all) except for Reagan and Trump have sold us out to these ChiCom. The worst offenders are Clinton, Obama, H and W.

How do you think these live organ harvesters get to where they are today without the aids of these past presidents?

This is a good book to start on these commies if you care to know the truth about them.

How do you explain your support for pro ChiCom policies? Why are you in favor of hurting American businesses to help China?

Oh, I took you off ignore to see if you would man-up and pay your bets off or if you'd run away. Don't worry, I am sure you will return shortly as the only person on my ignore list.

Trump has done more to strengthen China than all previous presidents combined. His stupidity has undone almost everything ever done to check the growth of China.

For the education of the Same old _03, w head buried in sand!!

The dotard has done more for China than any other POTUS since Nixon.
    • Voided the TPP which’d leverage the combined economic power of US allies in Asia to contain / keep China in check
    • Paving the way/enabling China to pressure the same US allies, sans Japan, to join this new Sino-centric economic “alliance”
It’s quid pro quo, as the PRC had granted copyright/license to
    • The Trump co to operate escort services in China,
    • Ivanka’s fashion lines to operate in China

Trump looked the other way w/ Hong Kong and Xinjiang just so he could get a limp wrist "Phase One" trade agreement that went nowhere. Also did it so his family could land more trademarks.

Top it off...Their GDP rose 5% last quarter. We really hurting them with tariffs!

I'm no accountant or numbers geek, so believe when I say, Give the man a raise!!!

my professional background is in accounting/finance.
China did give Trump a raise, as evidenced by the copyrights/licenses that China had granted to the Trump co and Ivanka

    This never gets old-

China grants 18 trademarks in 2 months to Trump, daughter
SHANGHAI (AP) — The Chinese government granted 18 trademarks to companies linked to President Donald Trump and his daughter Ivanka Trump over the last two months, Chinese public records show, raising concerns about conflicts of interest in the White House.

trump has been an unmitigated disaster for our country in the realm of foreign relations. His staggering incompetence isn't limited to our relations with our friends and allies in Asia and the Western Pacific, or his amazing ability to weaken our United States vis-à-vis China while trumpeting his lies about how he has done the opposite.

Our relations with our NATO partners have suffered greatly thanks to trump, the result being a weakened NATO alliance. The same alliance that stood shoulder to shoulder with us in the aftermath of 9/11. Today? Those same allies have more troops in Afghanistan than we do and have been there fighting alongside us the entire time trump has been busy vilifying them over the last 4 years.

trump's infatuation with Turkey's anti-democratic strongman, Recep Erdoğan, is a perfect example of his naivety. It's thanks to trump that Turkey is causing chaos in the Eastern Mediterranean, the Caucasus, the Middle East and North Africa. The United States does nothing to stop him because trump will not allow it. Meanwhile, trump's supporters here repeat trump's lies like poorly programed automatons. An apt description.

If Australia doesn't need the PRC anymore it's odd that they would sign a trade agreement with them.

The irony is that he's been fervently anti "hot" war that he talks up a mean storm to please his mouth breathing base, then tucks tail and cowers when things get too spicy. Some yokels still want to nominate Dump for the NPP on his "work" w/ N. Korea...

That first part has been the exact criticism Republicans have laid upon Dems since the Vietnam War.
"So and So a "good statesman"...likes to talk but weak on defense! That's why I never trust a Democrat in military matters.":rolleyes::rolleyes:

focus on the literacy rate; According to the CIA facts book,

India's literacy rate is ~ 70%, and close to 100% for other SE countries not named the Phiilipines..
if there's gonna be a new China for trade, it'll be a country that has 100% literacy rates.
if i have to make a pick, it'd be VietNam
