Its like the less you know about basketball, the happier you are with whats going on here. The dude's who have BEEN WHINING are now the "optimistic" guys looooooool.
If Stephen Silas can ever teach Russell Westbrook how to shoot properly. With more rotation and spin on the ball and with proper form, using your toes while shooting. Westbrook shooting 35% from 3 would be a dream come true for this team. Stephen Silas has a lot of knowledge of how to shoot properly and teaches ball handling skills, with both hands.
Lol, you're a trip. I can't even imagine what it would be like to walk around for 5 mins with your kind of negative energy.
Westbrooks biggest issue is he jumps too much in his shot and often doesn't jump straight up. Notice how Harden's feet only leave the ground a few inches when he shoots?
It would be incredibly dumb to rush a trade before the season starts. Harden's value will stay very, very high. After seeing what return Paul will get Oklahoma City you would think the Rockets would wait on trading Westbrook. A Westbrook trade now would be selling low. If they're intent on trading Westbrook then wait until the trade deadline when he will likely bounce back to pre-pandemic form -- and before a likely playoffs flameout. Plus Harden and Westbrook never truly clicked together on the court; there wasn't consistentcy where they both played at an elite level at the same time. It was still winning basketball, but not championship-caliber. As much criticism that Fertitta will get for the demise of the franchise, Harden absolutely deserves blame if he's now wanting out when he was a major reason why Houston traded for his buddy. Give Silas a chance. Let's see what they come up with. Can't be worse than last year.
People talk a lot about the Westbrook trade, which was bad, but Giving up Clint Capela and a 1st round pick for Covington wasn’t good either.
Yup, Cassell & Horry were our future. Imagine having Cassell as your starting PG for the next 5 years along with Drex, Elie, Horry & Olajuwon to round out the starting 5. I'll take that vs. old Sonics team from 97 / 98 onwards - they were getting old and disintegrating as well - as well as the Jazz or Spurs.
