I think it's obvious that the Republican establishment has failed in it's ability to control a responsible contest (to feed Trumps ego then do the right thing later).

There is no putting this cat back inside the bag. We are going into an actual contested election period where Trump and his cult are now committed to overturning a Democratic election. This is happening.

Dec 15th has become the day that will likely decide whether we are going to be a Democracy anymore or not. The Republican State electors for WI,MI,PA,AZ, and GA hold the fate our Democracy in their hands.

Again... we are just sitting here AGAIN waiting on Republicans to do the right thing???.... Anyone else sick and tired of this F-ing party of autocratic lunatics????

Apparently, the binder tab labeled "evidence" was a series of blank pages...

PA Republicans say they will do the right thing.

Pa. Legislature To Follow Tradition Of Awarding Electoral Votes To Popular Vote Winner

HARRISBURG (KDKA) — For months, there has been talk swirling that if Joe Biden wins Pennsylvania, Republicans in the state legislature could bypass the popular vote and appoint electors who are favorable to President Trump.

The electors award Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes.

On Friday, State Senate majority leader Jake Corman said Republicans will honor the wishes of the voters.

“Our role is to monitor the process, our role is to provide oversight and call out questions where they might need asked, but certainly want to stay with the tradition of the popular vote winner getting the electors,” Senator Corman said.

Corman says the vote is certified by the state and the governor appoints the electors.

He says the legislature will follow the law.

The only fraud is the system that allows Mitch mcconnell and his cronies who get 30% of the vote yet exercise unaccountable, unelected power.

    thanks for your analysis..
omar is quoting pa republican on this same not going with that idea but not sure where that pa rep end and certification. if certifying is that easy to stop or counter what is point of vote? surely there is checks to this.

i read somewhere electors have to vote as is in most states.

also see newrox fan post on same page here about ga and repug Lt gov seems to go against this.

seems like its stuck there and hard to not certify /stop certify.

also for sake of argument besides barrett and kavanaugh being in trump pocket what is assurance of roberts voting trump and what is legal grounds for sc to then rule against popular vote AND likely still more biden votes but not certified?

If Republican state officials succumbs to bullying, then the state legislature could refuse to select and send electors to the electoral college under the guise of 'we can't be sure who won so we're not sending anyone'. Republicans control the state houses of all the states being challenged.

Without these electors, neither Trump Nor Biden receive a majority of the electoral votes. Then the decision gets kicked to the House to select the president and the Senate for the vice president.

Each state in the House receives one vote to pick the president. Republicans control more of the states, so they select Trump as the president.

Republicans control more of the Senate. So they select Pence as the VP.

Trump and Pence wins and all of this is perfectly legal and constitutional.

Unfortunately, the barrier to this chain of events is normality and political cost, not legal.

...well of course THEY need help concocting convincing fraudulent evidence:rolleyes:...

...at least this time they're pretending to go about it the good 'ol fashioned way...

...if you can't do the work yourself...contract it out to somebody to do it for you...;)
