The Rockets have been a three point shooting team without a real marksman. We tried to get JJ Redick a few offseasons ago but that sadly fell through. There's not doubt having a real flame thrower is something this team desperately needs and would greatly benefit from. So who are some real possibilities that could play the "Duncan Robinson" role this upcoming season? Top Free Agents Joe Harris - I feel like he should be our top choice. Averaged 14.5 PPG/42.4% 3PT. Good for a mid-20 point night every once in awhile. He made $8.3 and $7.6 million in the last two seasons. Hopefully is a real possibility for the MLE. Bogdan Bogdanović - Has the highest upside but he's going to demand more money then Harris. It would have to be a sign-and-trade. Danilo Gallinari - Perfect veteran shooting presence. Says he's prioritizing winning so he could be another legitimate MLE target. Dāvis Bertāns - Basically a taller version of Duncan Robinson. He's projected to have a big pay day so it would probably have to be another sign-and-trade scenario. Who do you think we could acquire to play the "Duncan Robinson" role?
Whoever we hire will surely be able to utilize a sharp shooter. If they can't, they shouldn't be hired.
Kyle Wiltjer, Ryan Broekhoff, Jarrod Uthoff. MLE needs to go to a starting 5. Any sharpshooters will be bargain bin. Maybe an UDFA or buy a second rounder.
We need a coach. We have to decide what we’re doing with Harden and Westbrook. We can’t afford any of those guys. We’re not S&T for any of those guys unless you want to give up RoCo.
With what money. Stop it. None of those guys are close to minimum salary which is all tilman can afford
To think we were once Paul Harden Ariza Gordon Maboute Capella Tucker with 65 wins and a chance to win it all to no money no gm no paul no draft picks no coach and still arguably the worst owner the franchise has ever seen. 2020 has **** the bed...
It's a sad world where Ben McLemore on a cheap contract is our "Duncan Robinson" instead of the guy that we're paying 15 million plus a year. My man shot 25% from 3 in the OKC series lol. Makes me kinda miss Ryan Anderson until he started refusing to take the open shot.
Morey the genius top 3 GM who wants to shoot a million 3s with zero real sharpshooters that can actually start on an NBA team.
