    He used to do commercials for some rodeo / BBQ thing he had started in Houston. Up to that point I thought that song was sung by a spry white lady informing me that "Eye Tech (was) here."

    Yea...I had no idea where that song came from. But, somehow from early childhood, that song became just engrained into the brain. It is always there and never really left. I couldn't tell you who sang it or where it came from. But, now I know. RIP
