They haven't played yet. I find the incessant whining about the announcers, especially in this weird situation, annoying. The announcers today were fine. I know we're Houston and we're used to getting s*** on nationally. Sometimes, there just ain't smoke there.

LMJ would be on short rest, so I'm sure it's Urquidy.

Fairly certain they said that during the game. LMC goes for game 3 (if necessary).

    Some more ESPN wisdom
Put it this way: If the Twins don't snap their 16-game postseason losing streak -- that's not a misprint -- against the 29-31 Astros, something will have gone very wrong.

    what went wrong?

Yup. I expect a similar formula tomorrow. Urqudiy for 5-6 max. Then Javier comes in, but I bet he only gets one time through the lineup and then go to the pen guys.

Let’s go Blue Jays. Don’t want to face the Rays in the ALCS. Perfect bracket would be CHW, Indians and Blue Jays, with Brewers winning the NL.

When Bregman was base running on second and they called that pitcher's meeting, commentators basically said they don't blame the Twins for switching signs up on us because we cheat. That really got me heated.

    you couldn't be more wrong

    the announcers were not fine

they couldn't shut up about the cheating, they constantly bashed the players on how they don't blame our fans for calling out the stros which honestly I dont recall ever happening

they insinuated we cheated in 2019 as well by ignoring we were investigated and found clean that season, no mention of last season at all

    just terrible announcing overall

Stealing signs without video is also... not cheating. Bullpen phones and Apple watches though...

They talked about how the Astros were legitimate more than Juan Soto's age... and somehow more than Doris Burke complaining about refereeing

Next time they mention the Astros regular season batting averages

According to ESPN Stats & Info, the five worst team batting averages ever for playoff teams came in 2020:
    2020 Reds: .212
    2020 Cubs: .220
    2020 Brewers: .223
    2020 A's: .225
    2020 Cleveland: .228
    1906 White Sox: .230

Seems to me the Astros weren't the only ones stealing signs
