As much as I love Clint, this RoCo deal may have been exactly what this team needed last year.

CP showed this year, he can still be healthy, he can still be an absolute superstar.

WB is showing more of what he's always shown, he's flaming hot garbage half the time, and he's amazing half the time... in the regular season. In the playoffs, his half amazing - half Brewer meter hangs heavy on the Brewer side.

Westbrooks Career TS% for the playoffs is 51% ... and he hasn't averaged that since the 16-17 playoffs. His last 3 years has been.

    49%
    46%
    44% - this year

He simply is a massive liability on offense in the playoffs. He is only good for rebounding, hustling, mediocre passing (due to his turnovers), and mediocre defense.

The Lakers figured it out, play zone, and leave WB open. This series will be incredibly difficult for us to win.

If your goal is to win big Westbrook is a bad fit,

If your goal is to get the 7th or 8th seed and lose in the first round. Westbrook fits like a glove.

Now the problem with the trade is crystal clear. WB is a liability on offense.

It's too bad. CP3 would have been a great fit and we still could have trade for Roco.

i think we can fairly comfortably say both james and chris are to blame for that/this mess. the fact james won't change his game at all as if it is above reproach and has won a bunch of titles is fairly crazy. the fact chris paul thinks he can gimp his ass around the playoffs and then tell the league mvp what's what about how to run the team is also fairly crazy. now james can lose second round series with his friend and chris paul can lose first round series with lu dort.

or if cp3 could put his ego aside and stop trying to think everyone has to do it his way we could have won it all. hard to claim all you wanna do is win when watching harden shoot a few too many iso 3's makes you want to leave town for 1st round exits. stubborness (harden) and pride (cp3) goeth before a fall.

Also CP3 is an underrated defender, he may be shorter but his defense is probably better than WB at this point. I remember the year he gave KD fits guarding him. Other than WB’s elite athleticism, he seem to have below average Bball skills for a starting PG on a team with championship aspirations.

We don’t have CP3 anymore, so Russ needs to figure out very quickly how to be an asset on the floor or get benched. This is a very winnable series if Russ just plays a simply decent game with average IQ. It’s not a lot to ask from a former MVP.

I make far more sense in person, I suppose.

Where is a great place to watch Sports as a Houstonian in Houston? I see far too many GM's (ahem, cough) rightfully looking at the bottom line and allowing their place to be Bills, Patriots, Cowboys, etc places.

cp3 can influence whole team playing better. westbrooks just plays himself individually if he shoots poorly, the whole team will lose. Cp3 can use assist to come back

What was our record with CP3, Harden and Clint again?

Like 55-4 or some such, you keep that together.
