Somebody had to bump this thread. He was the GOAT against Milwaukee but a goat in the clutch tonight against the Blazers.
Lol I knew all these haters would come out the first loss the rockets take in the bubble. They were itching so bad
Spoken like someone who never hooped. Basketball is about rhythm, Harden had none today. Foul trouble and double teams will do that to you. Our guys need to hit open shots. Simple as that.
All it takes is one loss so the cowards can screw up their courage and empty onto the streets. And they multiply like head lice.
Many of these guys have never played ball on any level. Their understanding of the game is infantile.
@dc rock When win a couple games we don’t become the champions And when we lose harden doesn’t become Tmac win or lose we still have the same problems and advantages this particular thread is a troll thread But other threads pointing out obvious issues with our strategies are not
I think Westbrook shoot us out of the game in the 4th qtr - that series of what 3 bad shot and a TO came at a critical time - there was no need for some of those shots which were just terrible mid-range and one was a contested 3. And his ft's killed us too. What is up with that. Guy can't hit half his fts???? Blazers are a tough match-up for the Rockets - they have two awesome guards and a strong front court.
He probably thinks he isn't getting an open freeway to the hoop no more in the playoffs and why not practice some midrange? His thinking isn't wrong, his execution however is.
What about all those awesome passes out of the double team to his wide-open teammates for three...that they then missed...over and over and over? James Fault.
Westbrook gonna Westbrook. That turnaround one legged bank shot (horrible angle btw) is about the dumbest shot in crunch time I’ve ever seen. There were multiple issues yesterday. I’m still trying to figure out why Dantoni didn’t challenge the 5th foul on James or how Bmac wasn’t in the act of shooting.
That turnaround bankshot made me angry at how horrible of a shot it was. If you are struggling - which he was, the answer would be to get to the rim or pass it. Not take a wild shot. I also was puzzled by the lack of a challenge on the 5th foul. The Bmac foul was not in that act of shooting because the defender fouled the screener before he got the shot off - that was the foul they called.
I didn’t know they had called the foul on the screen, I may have missed the explanation on the broadcast.
I'm really getting tired of watching James Harden show the most amazing offensive basketball you've ever seen for an entire season, only for you to just get 80% of what he's capable in the playoffs. I'm tired of his worst games coming in the playoffs. It's getting real old now.
