    It’s a lingo style, he’s not writing a thesis. Remember, he even needed to consciously try hard to fit in in the NBA. Coming from a name-brand school makes him stick out, I bet he’d consciously and subconsciously tried to act and speak more black in response to constantly being tested or misunderstood.

    Case in point we are still judging his grammar today even after all the time bygone!

    Also it’s not just the NBA, he grew up playing ball. Ppl tend to want to be accepted by their peers. People also would naturally assimilate to their surrounding. He’s not around academics in his line of job.

    He didn't only cry on social media.
    He cried about in church.

    It's insane how ESPN calls him 'NBA champion', it's like if we start addressing bench warmers like Larry Robinson a legendary Rocket during the championship years

    Those are the challenges of being an NBA player

    The average tenure of a NBA player is 4 years...

    Players need to make the most of their time and a lot of it is out of their control (i.e. which team they are on, who their team mates, coach etc.)

    For most players outside of all star players, those factors play a big deal. Lin also had some unfortunate injuries which derailed his NBA career.

    Harvard is an ingratiated business with sponsored rankings. If they were honest with themselves, they would straight up tell the world that their prestige is based upon a totaltarian image that garnishes a $40 billion dollar a year booster... But, it is less substance than hypocrisy.
