    Other gms aren't so dumb to trade their best weapon in their prime unless it's for a billion first rounders. They are also willing to pay their guys market value.

    Was instantly more concerned with what the Texans gave up than excited for getting Michael Thomas WR. Finding out it's some scrub is more of a relief.

    Texans signed S Michael Thomas, formerly of the Giants.
    There's a non-zero chance Texans coach Bill O'Brien believes he just signed WR Michael Thomas. Assuming that isn't the case, we can expect Thomas to find a role as a solid special teams contributor and backup in the secondary. He's played in 88 games for the Dolphins and Giants since 2013.

    What kind of contract does Reid want? Is he willing to be be a backup? Will he play special teams? I know PFF had him ranked 69/71 and he was ranked last in coverage.

    I think NO would trade Brees first, given his age over the #1 receiver in the NFL. But playing along no way that package gets M.Thomas
