Bruh, you're repeating one-sided narratives. What else can be said? lol You have no credibility. You lie by omission and use false light. Especially about the stock issue. You need to read more than left-spun drivel.

I'm sure he's going on national TV and talking about a drug in order to make pennies.

You need to wake up man. These media outlets want you angry. They want your click. And they want to deceive you. Don't be their b****.

“Trump claimed that of the 15 known cases of the coronavirus on U.S. soil that “within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.””

The epicenter was Wuhan until early March, when Italy has more per cap cases. While they were not effective, many nations has restricted China travel by early feb.

Man, someone is on full meltdown mode here. Calling other people names, pushing against a narrative that everyone could hear the president say and admit to on tv. You fight the good fight, sir.

I don't have to defend all of his actions. I've said his reaction was not perfect and I don't pretend it is bucko. But you are spreading false information in your little anti-Trump crusade. I don't think Trump was right in his response completely. He was too slow to close the border, BUT to say the hoax thing still after it's been disproved is just irresponsible.

Snope gave it a mixture rating.

    Let’s play the interpretation game.

He said the reactions (severity and dangers) to the coronavirus was the new Dem hoax in LATE feb. Anyone with that viewpoint up to that time is grouped under the DEM hoax label. He does this in context of seriously and dangerously down playing this virus by him, many of his supporters, and many of trump media talking heads. The pushback to this ongoing early downplaying and the warning of the danger of this virus based on solid data and experts at that time was labeled as the new Dem hoax. He was deadly wrong and we are all paying the price for it. Even you were stating how dangerous this virus was earlier on - you might not realize it, but you were also part of the Dem hoax.

In a nutshell, the virus wasn’t a hoax but the seriousness of the virus was a hoax as portrayed by him. Deadly wrong.

It was abc. I give it a 25% that someone purposely planted a fake story and used a reputation news agency (abc) to push it. The US Intel who normally stay hush on media reporting made a statement and pushed back yesterday

No one is arguing he nailed his response. Perhaps though if China had not misrepresented this and especially the WHO, the entire world, not just Trump, would not have bungled their response. The Trump Trump Trump **** is played out.

Especially when testing is a major answer to opening back up the economy in a way that doesn’t just lead to a resurgence that shuts it back down again in 3 weeks. You can’t just tell people people aren’t dying and the hospitals really aren’t overrun. Trumps biggest weakness is thinking everyone is dumber than they really are.

no one in their right mind should argue he nailed the response (and I certainly know you aren’t - you don’t have to defend that).

no, I absolutely do not agree with not knowing enough. We knew enough. Plenty raised concern early on. Internal reports raised concern. The CDC, as flaw as their testing debacle, raised concern early. We knew enough. I do not like that “excuse”. Accountability is important. This is one of the biggest issue I have with this admin - deflecting and blaming other, not realizing their mistakes and not learning from it.

you know what concern me now? A strong push to quickly, abruptly open back up with no solid plan on how to transition from mitigation to containment. It’s almost as if the next phase is “let it loose”. There seems to be a serious undercurrent to do that because the economy has been so seriously impacted (what these same folks fail to realize is a collapse health system would also collapse the economy, probably even more severely).

Likely ongoing, has the attention of the gov:

WASHINGTON — Federal agencies are concerned that domestic extremists could use the coronavirus pandemic to attack Asians and Jews, according to a joint intelligence bulletin obtained by Yahoo News. That bulletin mirrors what organizations that monitor online hate content are also finding.

The bulletin, a joint effort of the Department of Justice, the National Counterterrorism Center and the Department of Homeland Security, is dated April 7.

The document says that domestic violent extremists — known as DVEs — “have sought to conduct, or conducted attacks citing the COVID-19 pandemic as a factor in the timing or motivation of their attacks.”

It additionally says that “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists,” or RMVEs, “who advocate for the superiority of the white race seek to exploit the COVID-19 pandemic to bolster their narratives and encourage attacks and hate crimes against minorities, including Jewish and Asian Americans. Some RMVEs claim government responses to the pandemic could crash the global economy, hasten societal collapse, and lead to a race war.”

The internal document shows that extremists have been emboldened by the pandemic. “Conspiratorial narratives assigning blame for the pandemic to a Jewish conspiracy or China heightens the risk of retaliatory violence against Jewish Americans and Asian Americans,” it says. “Other DVEs have shared statements that law enforcement will be unable to prevent DVE attacks on minorities or quell riots.”

Anti-Semitism has been rising around the world throughout the course of the pandemic, which began in December.

A little bit of the point of my post. To see if there was that kind of moment.

    Did not disappoint.

Various economists predicted the Department of Labor would today announce that another 5-7 million Americans had filed initial claims for unemployment benefits in the week ending April 4. Sure enough, the count was a seasonally adjusted 6.6 million, compared with the previous week’s revised 6.87 million in new claims. Tally up the total for the three previous weeks, plus the 5.8 million who were unemployed before much of the economy was shut down to fight the novel coronavirus, and you get 22.5 million unemployed. The actual total is more since many out-of-work people aren’t eligible for benefits or don’t think they are so don’t apply if they lose their jobs.

The total amounts to an unemployment rate of around 14%. That is 4 points more than in the worst of the Great Recession

That is 4 points better than Obama. Trump beats Obama once again. Trump is ... the ... best ... President ... ever.
