So much injustice over the years not selecting Rudy Tomjanovich. There were so many non believers along the way (media, writer Fran Blinebury Choke City Headline) But I have one to say to those nonbelievers Dont ever underestimate the Heart of a Champion.
Rudy couldve been a Hall of Famer as a Player, he is so talented, high IQ in Coaching, the Psychology, His Leadership, The Charisma in his voice. Coached the team to win a Bronze Medal in the Olympics, with No NBA Players during the NBA Lockout, Only Journeyman, Brad Miller became a NBA player later on. Rudy Tomjanovich created the Stretch Four System, as Robert Horry shot 3s as a Power Forward, to space the floor for Hakeem Olajuwon.
We need a ❤️ Button! Because now, finally the HoF has the ❤️ of a CHAMPION! Best news in weeks!!! (I wonder if my son still has the Rudy T ties I gifted him?)
Long overdue. The combination of his playing, and coaching career FAR exceeds deserving status. Rudy was a GREAT college player, and a very good pro. But, when you factor in his coaching career...it's a no brainer..been one for a long time. Congratulations RudyT!
Pure, untainted good news. I told my mom immediately. Cheered us both up instantly. Her first words: "Bout time." That's once nice brick of Hall of Famers in the first row.
