I do too even though I didn't have cable so was only able to watch road games.

Such a sensational game. Hakeem played better than Jordan while the latter was at his peak. Take that ESPN etc! Otis Thorpe the mini Olajuwon helped enormously. The Bulls were very talented, but they had no answer for this 1-2 punch. Maxwell was terrific, and Horry had a great game. No wonder, Michael Jordan didn't want to face Hakeem and the rest of the Houston Rockets.

 

it'd be nice to have horry on todays squad.

Anyone remember watching Rockets games on Channel 51, KNWS ?!??!
...it was like the worst channel of all time....grainy AF.

 

Carmelo is obviously a better all round scorer than Horry, but he has never sincerely dedicated himself to defense. Horry was a better clutch shooter too.

We sure we're good back then. It's easy to why that group eventually became champions. We had everything when Cassell came on board the following year. Great memories.
