I think James Harden is dealing with a toe injury.

He missed his first and only game of the season on December 29th with a right toe sprain. Here is an article showing that he injured it in the previous game against the Nets:

If you look at Harden’s percentages in the 11 games since he sat out with that toe injury, his numbers are:

    37.3% FG%, 28.2% 3pt%

In the 11 games before the toe injury, his percentages were:

    49.3% FG%, 43.5% 3pt%

I think it’s obvious he’s playing injured, and it seems that it may be a toe injury that he’s still dealing with.

    It was the four-day layoff.
    Fine vs. Denver
    Fine vs. Philadelphia
    Four-day layoff
Even came out fine in the first Q vs. Atlanta scoring 22 points

He's clearly hurt or exhausted, but as long as MDA is the coach, he will continue to get 35+ minutes a night with no days off.
