that’s fine. That would mean history would repeat itself and the oilers would lose the AFC championship game again
Never would’ve imagined going into this game that Josh Allen would throw the ball almost twice as many times as Watson. 24/46 attempts to 20/25. Glad they didn’t, but they probably should’ve run the ball a little more.
I can live with ... score more points than your opponent next week. Giving me a heart attack along the way is optional
These games are all close as hell... QB play and the ability to run the ball consistently can literally be the offensive formula for any team to have success. Much like the NBA, the game slows down immensely in the playoffs. Anyways, NRG got really loud for a few minutes yesterday (during what should have been the last defensive stand). It was on par with the loudest its been ever there... but obviously wasn't there the whole game. Still a fun little game to go to... plenty of flaws with this team, but still would rather have a team play in these sort of games, and play into January, than one that sits at home.
So...according to the NFL, not only did the referee screw up by awarding the Bills a TD on the kickoff, at most he should have allowed them a safety as Carter flipping the ball forward towards the referee constituted an illegal forward pass from the end zone. also, Beasley diving forward on that third and 10, constitutes him giving himself up where a touch was not necessary to down him. Ball should have been placed on the 30 for 4th and 1.
This is late but Joe Tessitore always looks like he is constipated or something. His facial expressions are cringe-worthy.
Wild card weekend now complete. All four games went under the Vegas total even with two games going to OT. Texans 22 points ends up being second most points out of the eight teams while facing one of the better defenses in the Bills. Scoring and winning in the playoffs isn’t easy. And good coaches, Super Bowl winning coaches, make mistakes. Sean Payton not calling his last timeout after stopping Minnesota on 3rd down with 2:50 left not only wasted a lot of time, but wasted the two minute warning as it expired during change of possession. Even if he wanted to save it for offense, he should have called it after Cook’s first down reception I believe around 35 seconds left. To me, by not calling it at 2:50 he was playing for the tie and overtime which is always risky.
Texans-Bills was the most-viewed NFL Wild Card game ever on ESPN and ABC https://www.google.com/amp/s/sports.yahoo.com/amphtml/nfl-saturday-wild-card-game-215759964.html
U call me inconsistent, Dick riding BoB one post, callin for him to b fired the next. Make up your god dam mind, before swiping at the rest of us.
I wanted him fired for the first half. His 2nd half made me want O'Brien to hire an OC at the very least.
I still want him fired. With a minute and thirty one seconds left and 4 downs, no way that game should have gone to overtime.
