Wait hold on. This excuses Trump’s behavior?

To say that Trump mocking a 16 year old with Aspergers who champions an issue that matters to her is justifiable, is to say “sure I had sex with my cousin, but I waited until they were 18”.

Almost every disgusting action has mitigating factors, doesn’t change the underlying behavior from being disgusting

Sam, I don't think there is anyone still breathing who doesn't want to save the planet. The problem is that there are so many opinions on how to do it -- and where to do it. A significant number of people here think the U.S. should eliminate carbon fuels or drastically reduce their use. I just don't see how that can be achieved without reducing the U.S. to third world status. However, if you and your companions can get China, India, Russia and Germany to reduce their carbon usage to U.S. levels now or in the future, I will march arm and arm with you.

That's quite a leap of logic -- completely incorrect fear mongering, but no surprise coming from you. Btw how's your 007 infiltration of democratic party working out?

The difference between 39C and 40C is not the difference between normal and catastrophic fires.

Modern witchdoctors wave their windmill-totems and want us to stop fires with solar panels and batteries — so possibly in one hundred years we might get shorter droughts, slower winds, less lightning, and temperatures that might be a meaningless 1 degree cooler (in their wildest dreams and with no possible numerical justification even through their own broken, failing models and as assessed by their favourite mass foreign committee of 26,000 experts).

Even if we sacrificed our economy and way of life and somehow achieved what they wanted the nation would be a powder-keg for the next hundred years, and then after they “succeeded” it would still be a powder keg.

Watch this space… pray for people, koalas and forests. Trainwreck in action in Australia…

It may help if the right first acknowledges that climate change is real and not a hoax. Hard to find a solution to a problem that is claimed to not exist.

Are you both trying to out-old each other on a basketball message board? If so, you're doing a swell job!

There was a massive worldwide effort to ensure Y2K didn't cause huge problems.
