Is he a 6th man type instead of a starter? Saw his stats are similar to Gordon’s and his minutes were cut back in the g league. His game seems to be suited for the first second option out of a pick and roll. That is a wrinkle in the offense that is the X factor—> Gordon, The Jeff Hornacek role. His game seems to nationally come as helper to keep the other team honest and guessing. Most coaches transition into to this as needed during the game to save energy for the core offense. I see value in the skill set but role is taken by Gordon (and House at the beginning of his time here). Maybe more moves coming?
out of the 9 NG guys competing for the last 4 spots i would bet on mclemore, bennet and clemons. there is also a chance they leave one spot open for buyouts later in the year. however, i don't think these guys should be relied upon for major minutes. i hope they prove to be worthy of those minutes but i'm not holding my breath.
