Christian Wood would be an excellent addition. When you are low on draft capital, you have to hit home runs on some fliers. Wood, like Anthony Bennett, qualifies. Wood would fill a position of need and has upside potential.

    Absolutely they should get him.

Cmon man. Two guys who have never played a game in the NBA. It’s easy to look explosive in college but the NBA is a different game. Don’t give me that. I agree they both have high upsides and would love to have Hayes, but don’t tell me he’s already better than Clint. The guy couldn’t even get Texas to the NCAA tournament.

There’s no downside to this move. None. It makes too much sense, Morey should be all over it.

We signed him to our G League team a season or two back from what I recall... before Milwaukee scooped him up.

He and Westbrook would be a killer combo in the PnR.

Clint couldn't even catch a lob...what team did he take to the NCAA Tourney? We would have beaten GS with this guy:

I would think it would not be via
That's quite the claim. If is for being athletic we got Gerald. Also, would still have "K. J." McDaniels.

Oh damn..didn't Morey just sign Tyson Chandler?

The season hasn't started yet. Can they take back their offer and instead offer Christian Wood the roster spot ?

    He looks good.

A potential frontline of Faried(if signed), Danuel House, Anthony Bennet(AB), and Christian Wood should manufacture some wins in the regular season and complement Harden ,Westbrook, Rivers, and Gordon quite wel

No, its because he is a better player than Capela. He has better awareness on offense, better athlete, more mobile, better leaper, has better hands, better FT shooting, and a better rim protector than Clint. I would say Clint has the advantage in strength and rebounding only. And he also has almost the exact same measurements as Clint with bigger hands, same standing reach, and 1 inch less wingspan. The guy catches everything near the rim and slams it home. How many lobs and alleys did Clint turnover in the close games against GS, if they were buckets. Also, Draymond could not guard Jaxson like he did Clint, firstly because he has better awareness on offense and secondly because he gets way higher than Clint, letting the passes be out of reach of Draymond.

With his length and explosiveness, I think he compares to rookie Dwight Howard. Also barely turned 19 2 months ago, so possibly still growing

I watched him a lot last season before he was traded away. Or was he cut?

Anyway he played in most blowouts. There comes a point when all the athletic gifts and potential should translate to real game but unfortunately it may be late for him. Cant play defence and has bad touch with passing.
He had a lot of fanboys but I was never really excited.
But why not? We should get him.
