    Yea if Leonard goes to the Lakers they are the favorites. Really hope this one doesn't happen.

    Rockets will have fallen behind both the Lakers and Jazz, IMO.

    The Rockets can withstand staying pat as long as Kawhi doesn’t go to the Lakers. Kawhi/Lebron/AD will be a beast. I don’t even need to know how the rest of the roster fills out.

    well it's not just about breaks, they also squandered a big chunk of assets and avenues to get better in exchange for LTS

    I agree with this post. No point blowing it up for butler.

    However I think if he does go to the Lakers then butler wont help us anyways so we still better off staying pat. Until I know what the rest of the roster would look like I think we are better off without Butler. Also if Kawhi goes to Lakers no point of watching basketball anymore. 3 top 10 or even top 5 talents on 1 team. Some might argue they (Lebron, AD, Kawhi) are the top 3 players in the league. I dont think so but still. Cant compete with that. At least GSW only had length in KD really. Lakers would have length at all 3 of their top 3 players.

    Add to that the Anderson signing, Capela's surprising regression and Paul going off a cliff in year one (not even 60 RS games this year). It's possible that without #13 that this team might not even be playoff caliber.

    Agreed. Conley is somewhat injury prone himself. But yea....Leonard/Davis/James is significantly better than anything the Rockets can field, especially if Butler is truly Miami-bound.
