    Smoltz said something like that on one of the national broadcasts: If they actually legitimately call the high strikes as the box dictates 100% of the time, no one will ever be able to hit the ball again.

    I don't disagree with that, but there's got to be a compromise between that and the amoeba strikezones we see from some umps.

    It's commendable how the Astros have continued to win at a high pace but games like tonight remind you what they are missing in the lineup.
