    #Texans wanted to interview Eagles Joe Douglas but were denied. Now Douglas is interviewing for the Jets GM opening. Wonder if the Texans hurry up and try again.

    The timing is indeed curious. Did Gaines' picks look so questionable during OTAs that McNair had no choice but to dump him right away?

    Anyway suspect BoB has a REAL short leash now going into the season.......

    This mediocre franchise never cease to surprise me. BOB apparently needed someone that looks competent fall guy to protect himself. I knew it was stupid to hire in house without even making the due diligence to interview outside candidates.
