looks like a tib/fib fracture, not open. Rods, screws, and a lot of rehab. Don't wish this injury on anyone. Hope he makes a quick and full recovery.
Now with two starters out heading into the playoffs, I'm sure Golden State will play them in the first round.
Yeah, I was wondering which unlucky team was gonna be the recipient of Golden State's injury jinx this year.
The ref knew what he was doing. Nobody is that oblivious to a screaming 7 footer on the ground, especially right after you heard the bone snap which anyone watching the video could hear.
That is absolutely appalling, but the second I realize its an NBA ref unaware of his surrounds (despite it being his job) it didn't even surprise me.
There is still hope that his career is not over. He's only 24 and Paul George came back to a similar injury and is even better than before. And that ref is a ****ing r****d
I am sorry but if the league has any class, that ref should not be allowed to ref any more games. Either he is completely clueless, or a complete moron. Either way, he should be gone. Wow...just wow.....
According to a YouTube comment that referee has done it to Isaiah Canaan Leg injury last year. That scumbag should be fined, suspended, thrown out of the league like Scott Foster.
Damn, how does that even happen. How can a leg just break like that, can it be due to bad preparation / being tired etc? Pre-existing problems probably? That's just crazy. That referee, my god man, if he doesn't come with a serious apology to Nurkic and his family then he should be banned. If he does, then suspend him for a whole season without pay. There's no way he did not know what was going on and there's also no way you can tell me he couldn't have just walked around him. The other ref talks to him and he just looks back, almost as if his colleague saw him walk over Nurk like it was nothing and said "you do know his leg break right?" Then the guy looks over his shoulder, emotionless, like yeah I know...What the double freaking ****??? Even seeing him from a distance, he looks like a massive *******. Not only did he touch him, he almost tripped himself over a guy's broken leg. What if he made it worse?!! Really hope the media blasts that fool, but I think we won't hear anything aside from that it was unfortunate by the ref. Media are cowards. What's up with the crowd booing at some point?
