First Take is in about an hour. Undisputed is in 30 minutes. We really should have one thread dedicated to these talk show clips.

Ditto. I was very encouraged after this interview. Those picks do nothing for us during Harden’s prime. He is aware of it, and I now expect Morey to go all out before the deadline. I just wonder what wing he is targeting.

Interesting that he did not mention EG. He brought up guard depth and included James,CP, and Rivers. He likes Faried as a back up 5, so I don’t think another lengthy 5 is on his radar.

So it looks like we will go all out for a wing before the deadline and I’m all for it.

 

I hope he’s going on cowherds show also so he can tell him to stfu

 

But which quality wings are available? Bazemore is all right as a player, KCP falls into a similar category, Prince is younger and cheap, Bembry is quicker than him and cheap.
I think they are targeting Beal, but we need a PF/SF more than him.

Same could be said for 80% of the teams in the NBA, so...

 

If he is talking about giving up future assets as in multiple picks, anyone within in reason could be on the table. I have no idea at this point who they are targeting, but it sounds like they are locked and loaded on making a significant move soon. When he stated that he does not want to waste this window of opportunity for Harden, CP, and Clint, that was music to my ears.

Maybe someone (a wing) will become available in the next week or two. Memphis has given up and now Gasol and Conley are available. Hopefully some other team gives up hope for the season and we can finally get a wing. At this point I would sacrifice at least 2 firsts for the right player(s). Maybe even 3. Morey can get creative.Time to swing for the fences imho.

• Thinks the Ariza and Ma bah Moute losses are overstated

 

Temple and Green for Knight, Chriss, a 1st and a 2nd. I know both Temple and Green are in a contract year but they fill in a lot of the needs we currently have.
