    I just read that the roof is going to be closed... thats a shame. Oh well, I'm sure that the closing will be a media event in itself.

    Since its essentially a night game, a closed roof isn't that critical.

    In fact, it will be opened again for around 1/2 hour before kickoff, for the pre-game festivities (fly-over, fireworks), and then closed right afterwards.

    Pretty cool way to show off the technology!

    It closed about half an hour ago; they showed it on CBS. The NFL will still allow it to open during the game if the weather permits, although I doubt it will before the halftime show, if at all.

    God, this is going to be one hell of a boring game. I think the team that scores first will likely hold onto win this unless someone makes a play on special teams or defense.

    I feel cheated, I could've have done something else until two minutes left. :( And with my continuing downing of a pitcher of strong margaritas, I'm definitely feeling it tomorrow. A little announcement, I found out this afternoon I have a new job at my paper; covering the Atlanta Falcons, the first time we've done it. Awesome. :D I got off the phone with my editor around 2 hours ago.
