We need more nicknames for these guys. When Green and Rivers are out there, they should be the Green River Killers. I got nothing for House and Rivers, though.

Well pat was all about the trash talk, River can actually play. It’s something we haven’t had in a while. This team needs that swag.

Let’s also not forget “the hoopla” is James Harden doing GOAT type things against the best team of all time. You could just feel James’ confidence the whole time - that has arguably been the greatest knock on his game and he seemed to clear that hurdle easily tonight. That’s HUGE for this team - like next level huge.

When the season started I felt like our roster was a house of cards..sure we have Harden but Paul is injury prone and losing Ariza was huge.
Then we got Ennis/Melo and some other scrubs and our team didn't fit right.

But House + Rivers = exactly what this team needed. Tough, gritty players who are shooting surprisingly well.

The more I watch them win, the more I am happy with the roster. I am hoping we can make another trade before the deadline and get a value 3/D player.

That late game three by Rivers (seems like that's been the case every game) really allows Harden to get a few extra one-on-one opportunities. Hard to leave Green and Rovers open when they're hitting clutch threes all of the time

Even Brandon Knight is starting to look like he will be a player again. If, so he can definitely be a good trade piece.

Lets not forget B Knight. He is a good ball hander, hit a big three down also. And o think its gonna start to get to his former self.

What I want to understand is why we have been able to use successful Harden to Capela PnR tonight but it was not a working play during the WCF. What's changed?

I can’t agree more bro. The cohesiveness is there for sure, they both fit this team and are easy on the eyes to watch.

Rivers was clutch. House had some great stretches and allowed rockets to rest Harden. Capela manned up the boards and scored!
Tucker played stellar D! Great win!!!

Everyone really stepped up. I even liked the way BK, Gary and Ennis, the brick bros, played with aggression. Clint must be running stairs with Harden because his stamina is at another level now.

I’ll second this. I couldnt stand Rivers at any point before being here, not at Duke, not on any NBA team, but he is feeling it with us, and I support the feeling.

I remember Tony Kornheiser saying we should draft him for star power, and I couldn’t stand hearing it, but he’s been the best vet min in season signing this year, by some length.
