Rockets can still beat any team in the West in a 7 game series besides GS

Maybe it's just me but none of the teams out west scare me. Maybe OKC is the second biggest challenge.

Other than that there are a bunch of average squads that the Rockets on paper have just as much talent as. Denver, Portland, Clippers, Mavs, Lakers etc. these teams don't scare me.

If the Rockets start getting hot in April heading into the Playoffs I still like our chances.

That's if they haven't already been eliminated from the playoffs by January ;)

It’s just you. That sounds delusional. The reality is that the Rockets are not a good team.

This team is not making the playoffs as currently constructed.

Agreed. This team might not even have a chance to meet anyone in a 7 game series.

"No one can beat us in the series," CP3 said in an interview.

I agree with CP3 very much. When we can't get into the playoffs, other playoff teams don't even have the chance to beat us.

    sorry, but nah man

we are a bottom 10 defensive team, can’t rebound, can’t shoot, and play multiple guys that are straight up scrubs...we’re playing some dude named Danuel legit rotation minutes

at some point people need to recognize that this team just isn’t that good...25 games in and they are 11-14 with so many bad losses

U think Lebron is gonna lose to this team in the playoffs? Hell nah.

This sounds like a thread straight out of the 15-16 season

This is what Suns fans say every year while failing to make the playoffs.

You have to be delusional to convince yourself everything is okay.

It's not just you. I want get this in on the first page before you get crushed, lol.

The Rockets are playing like 24 ounces of hot garbage juice in a western conference filled with trash, but I still think they have the ability to beat any team currently in the playoffs. Granted they have to get there first and that is looking iffy. Those teams don't scare me; the Rockets lack of effort scares me more. shrug*

You can @ me. Send all ridicule to @DreamShook.

The Rockets as they are right now probably won't be winning a 7 games series. There's still like what, 57 games to play? That's ample time for some changes to be made, whether it's internally or externally by acquiring new players.

I'm still ever the optimist, but I'm going to be tempering that optimism somewhat until the team proves to me that they're worthy of my full trust.

I feel like I'm in an unhealthy relationship right now.

They wouldn't beat the NBA "beloved" Lakers.

If the Rockets get a win against Portland, they'll be 12-14. This was the exact same record the Rockets had 11 years ago. From that point on, their record was 43-13, including a 22 game win streak.

Just stating a fact, and nothing more.

I think currently there is a higher chance on Rockets getting beaten 4 times rather than winning 4 times in a playoff series.

If Harden and Paul play like they are capable of, then yes

Wouldn't be surprised if they blow out the blazers

Blazers are the worst example, they are decent in regular season and not that good beyond that.

IDK if they will be a high seed next year.

The thing is the Rox dun scare me at all if I were the opponent. This season.

Getting hot would mean they'd be running JH, CP and Ego into the ground, playing close to 40 per game again which really does not result in anything good.
