Good Stuff I think Harden does not seem to benefit of FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT We seem to have like 4 fouls last night boxing out . .. . .even with the guy behind our guy A couple of Coventon's jumpballs were preceded by hacks to get that position but most important We just missing open shots I would be willing to be we miss the most open 3s in the league it is just that simple Missing open shots Tonite it seem like the legs came from under it The other issues are 1, Why are we not playing more players. . . .. Clark and Harty are not going to blow up the world but 5 minutes a game could not hurt. This would give more rest and 12 more fouls to give they hustle and they seem to fight and care 2. Dan-And-Tony still is late on the time outs and adjustments 3. why give up a 70% finger roll for a 30% 3 pointer - This is pissing me off YOU GET IN THE LANE AND HAVE THE SHOT TAKE IT!!! 3's and Layup are true but one should never give up layups for 3's All 3's should be take instead of midrange. .. NOT TAKING AWAY FROM LAYUPS!! The offense clicks. . .then the defense clicks 4. Dan-And-Tony needs to be able to keep our guys up all game Rocket River
Using that specific example, you might be right. In terms of "talent" I wouldn't have a problem moving a 1st for Keef, BUT he is expiring. Keef is a high risk to shop around in a big market in the offseason. I don't think Morey would move a 1st for an expiring. Would need 2 yrs on the deal like he did with Lou Williams. The Wizards made a play for Bojan Bogdanovic with a 1st and he left to go to Indy. Wasted asset for the Wizards.
Rockets will not be fine. Rockets would win 47 games this season if Chris Paul plays the rest of all 59 games. 11+ 59*61.11% = 47 wins If Chris Paul rests 2 more games, then Rockets would win 45 games this season.
I know we only want to shoot 3's dunks and layups....but damn. I've seen it too many times when we go cold, it's F'ing cold and we suck. I honestly thought the reason we got Melo was to use his post up game for stretchs, like last night to keep us scoring. I think we will make the playoffs, but not what we were supposed to be. Oh and I'm not saying I want Melo back. Just saying it would be nice to have player with some post up moves to break the scoring slumps. Well it actually would not matter bc our coach doesn't want that .
Ok I take it back after I see we waiver house What are we thinking hahaha Jk jk , but man this season really is bilpolar
I've said it multiple times - It depends upon which Rockets team shows up …. Its been like that all year. Maybe they need this dose of humility and come back pissed off next year.
There is still time for us to round into form . How many games to we need ? We might have new pieces by the all-star break anyways . I think we got our humility served at the beginning of the season . Our intensity has gone up overall . Sure we have bad nights and off games . But we've got to pace ourselves , it's a long season . Take last night for example . CP3 had an awful shooting night ... it happens ; but still he was no where near 100 percent but terms of defensive effort or aggression on offense . I believe in his character as a competitor and when he doesn't go all out , I believe it's because he's pacing himself .
There is plenty of time to get it together …. I don't know how many games they need to do that but its apparent they do need re-enforcements , the sooner the better. As for CP3 , I don't buy he's pacing himself , I believe he's not 100% and is playing anyway because as a sub .500 team there just isn't any "pacing yourself". Also a healthy CP3 alone doesn't fix everything - They need a starting caliber wing in the worst way. Last year their strength was at the wings with several guys who could go off on any night - Ariza , EG , Ryno , Moute , Tucker , Green. They could mix and match , go with the hot hand …. this year they just don't have many options and if one guy is off , it really hurts.
Well, your hammy and some ref call did last year, Paul you genius! Stop shooting below 30% from 3 like in the last games while you are at it!
Same nonsense was said in 2015-2016. "We'll be fine", said everybody on this website from November to March... The Rockets aren't good. They have like 3 quality players. Their 2nd "star" is already looking washed up. And we don't try for long stretches in virtually every game. If by "fine", you mean we're going to be a low seed in the playoffs and an early exit, then yes, you are correct.
