True but those names are a lot better than what we have outside of Hopkins. Who’s the 3 WR right now going forward?

    Hopkins
    Coutee
    Coates

Those guys are pedestrian WRs. I'd rather start start Coates and keep my draft capital than invest anything into a washed-up Dez Bryant or Demaryius Thomas.

Thomas is washed up? Case Keenum as your qb doesn’t really help anyone.

Coates hasn’t proven anything this year. I’m all for trading a 4th or 5th for a name that’s producing this year. We have an extra 2nd rounder from the Seahawks.

I would like to see this organization do something ballsy for once. I have a feeling the gm will make a move.

You mean, like, throw $72 million at a free agent QB? Or how about trade up to draft a franchise QB one year later?

Ballsy is not a foreign concept to the Texans.

2 moves in 16 years. I’ll give you the Ed Reed signing too. This team is not ballsy like Patriots / Cowboys etc

Not saying it’s always a good thing but Texans stay with a formula and would rather sink to the ground.

Johnathan Joseph, Daniel manning, Ahmad green, Matt Schaub.

The patriots are the opposite of ballsy. They trade their star players (chandler jones, cooks) for picks.

Trading a 5th round pick for Gordon doesn’t count as ballsy.

Matt Schaub and Brock. They had no choice but to find a qb after suffering forever and fans pressure.

Green and Reed signing was like getting Nene. Cheap n out of prime.

Joseph n Daniel were smart signings that cost less. Everyone wanted asomuagha.

Guess we are off on the definition of ballsy.

Maybe what you mean to say is they dont trade for players during the season. I dont remember when they have made a trade in the middle of a season strictly to get a player (Lane last year doesn't count since it was a trade to get picks for Duane Brown). They do a lot of transactions in the offseason.

They've routinely traded up in the draft; they're often active in free agency (Tyrann Mathieu?)... I don't know what constitutes ballsy - but they certainly aren't idle.
