    Melo is clueless on defense but so Is our Coach. Melo with his signature wide stance arms and that look trying to find his glasses that fell on the floor.

    It's Gordon , Paul , and Clint that are killing us so far this game .

    When your 2,3,and 4 don't show up it's a rough task .

    I like our chances if we can make a run here... get it under 15-17 and blitz em in the 4th

    Jesus flaming christ. Wait all these months after losing game 7 "a cp3 hamstring away" missing 27x3pts and we're down by mid 20pts to NOP and Mirotic 5 from 5 from the 3! OMG SMH.
    Know it's game 1 and it's not a reflection of the season (i hope anyway), but this is really disappointing, especially on home court.
    Reiterate, this is not an overreaction, just disappointed given how I've missed Houston basketball.

    I think DM is still “working” on the team. They both do look flat tonight —> I hope they get into the game I know they can put up a 40 point quarter at will —> that is way we are still watching.

    Losing Bzdelik was a huge hit to this team... D'antoni is just not a good defensive coach, I think that was a given.

    Sucks that this reminds me of the first ty lawson game of the year when we lost to denver (I think) on opening night. Hope it's really just a shitty first game, of a great season.

    The Rockets won 65 games last year and took the Warriors, possibly the greatest team in the history of the NBA, to 7 games. But you're ready to say MDA and Morey should be fired before they even finish the first game of the Season? Okay. That doesn't seem like a knee jerk at all.
