And I had forgotten game 5 was 5-0 shutout; hence, the doom and gloom thinking the Astros were done

Pretty clear the Red Sox are the better team this year. The Astros pitching in the playoffs this year is definitely weaker than last year. Smith and Osuna are total scrubs and shouldn’t even be out there.

The offense needs to take pitches. It seems like five pitches and the inning was over. The offense needs to step it up.

Stros were up 2-0 last year, then went to Yankee Stadium and got their asses kicked 3 straight. Then went home and won 2 in Houston and then won the WS.

    So there's that.

The astros are like a drug. I thought I’d be happy with just 1 championship but **** that, I want that feeling again. Thinking of someone else celebrating a championship is disgusting. We are going to take this.

    Sox have earned my respect.

As @Thefabman stated, this was a punch in the mouth.

No doubt, the Astros will regroup.

I am just as happy when we win. I am just as hopeful when the games start. Yes, today pissed me off. They played like crap. Managed like crap too.

No doubt....we'll fight back and this will be a great series BUT, we just gave home field back the first game. Our offense is back to lethargic again.

Losers point to last year. That’s over. This is not a repeat of last year. Are the Astros hungry enough? No. Looks like Boston is hungrier. No excuse for todays crap.

If Keuchel was bad the Eovaldi was bad, and Verlander was bad. 2 run on soft hit singles vs the best hitting team in mlb.

These was a close playoff game where Hinch roll some dice and got burn. Simple stop with the overreacting

I think when it comes to two great teams, the home field is basically like a barely there advantage.

It's going to be like the Rockets-Warriors series...or the previous World Series...where both teams can win anywhere.

The Astros can win on the road, the Red Sox can, we just need to make sure our manager doesn't decide to throw in unprepared pitchers in big moments.

I think the bats will come to life...at least I hope, we ain't winning if they don't.
