I would like to hear your reasoning for this. Not saying you are wrong or right, but I would like to see why you would think so.

Also sidenote: No gurantee Porter is on the table.

Losing Dieng is just the frosting. Gaining EGo, young wing shooter in VE and first rounder so they stay play off competitive in the West is the cake.

And Morey has at least a couple of 3rd teams, notably SAC, who are ready and willing to take back bad contracts for picks. And the rights to Llull are worth more than rights to Leunen, Newley or Eliyahu. If not Llull then give them Gentile, a player SAC openly coveted before. But Llull is the better more decorated player. Why not throw it in?

Thibs needs to be insulted more so he can pull his head out of his ass and make a move.

Ridiculous assertion. Production does not support this inanity, especially post season production.

That would make for a boring story. Makes too much sense.

    Thanks for noticing. :)

This is a serious one. Ear is legit.

Tobias rejected an offer...wants away from Doc and ______

Toby is always in high demand.

EDIT: Miami is pressing F5 the hardest.

The Rockets like Jim...and they'd gladly take Jim, but it sounds Thibs/Minny's demands are causing a cool down. (That's how Morey calls your bluff, I'd imagine)

The names being thrown around are ridiculous. Jim is good, but Jim is not Anthony Davis, or Porgz or the potential of Donovan.

It's Minny's way of pitting teams in a bidding war of unrealistic transactions

Is he really not available? Isn’t he going to test free agency this summer anyways?

If Tobias is on the table then that is a good get for Minny IMO. Not sure what the hold up would be but if they can add a protected 1st then this deal should have been done yesterday.

Clips dont have a 2019 first rd pick. That could be a problem.

Doc Rivers have "murdered" Clippers assets a few years in a row. Harris has little value, but not available.

I am probably the only one in the world think that Wolves asking price is too low. What assets do Clippers have to acquire a star?

    Beverley?
    Lou Williams?
    Gortat?

    Injury Gallo?

My point of view - Clippers have no valuable assets at all.

Harris is good but he's expiring in a year with teams like Brooklyn, NY, Lakers, Clippers having a lot of cap space, he's also a young and less good (of course) version of Melo, put him (at the 3 or at the 4, doesn't change anything) in the same team with KAT and Wiggins and yeah, it doesn't look good imo.

    On a side note...

    Kevin Love
-Traded for Anthony Bennett & Andrew Wiggins

...and i'm not even a big fan of Love

You can only ask so much when he's essentially demanding a trade. Players, especially stars, have a lot more power in the NBA than in other leagues. Partially because their production is a larger percentage of the team's production than others.

Also, any team he gets traded to is risking it only being a one-year rental. Again, you're not going to get back 1:1 or perhaps even 1:0.8 of value there.

As long as we're posting fake (twitter) insiders... :D

    https://www.sportsgossip.com/nba/tom-thibodeau-sabotaging-potential-jimmy-butler-trades

Thibs has been sabotaging all the trades for Jimmy Butler on purpose. Thibs still thinks he can keep him and get him to play. Wolves had a deal in place end of last week with Heat for Richardson and Whiteside. GM Scott Layden had this deal in place, until Thibs asked Heat to switch Whiteside with Dragic and an unprotected 1st round pick. Miami didn't want to pick up the phone after that.

Thibs then went around to other teams like Houston, Milwaukee, and Clippers telling the details, saying he's still available, but then not picking up the phone stalling.

it's so weird that thibs was really loved in htine and viewed as a beast defensive coach. then he moved away and proved to be sucky for a coach with a sickly voice and somewhat bad temper.

Llull is 30 and not coming to the NBA. We don’t know Morey has a third team ready and willing to take back Dieng, though I would guess he doesn’t.

Here's hoping we can have some guys like Hartenstein or Clark flash in the preseason and be used as trade chips.

Doc could be enough; he’s not every players’ cuppa. (And this is the NBA; this is major professional sports we’re talking about so PLEASE. DEFINE. STRONG PERSONALITIES.)
