It's Dennis Eckersley. Oh man, he sounds like a stereotypical grandpa with something to say about everything with stereotypically weird grandpa euphemisms. It's actually starting to crack me the hell up.

 

Kluber is painting. Looks great so far, unfortunately. Even with the 2 HBPs, he looks un-hittable. Hopefully we turn it on soon, or at least get to the bullpen.

 

So annoyed by that double play still lol.

 

Now I really want a compilation of Eck-isms from this game, because, man "35-yr-old cheese" and many others need to be preserved for posterity.

Hm anyone else think JV isn’t getting the same wide strike zone as Kluber

 

So far the 2 best Game 1 starters in this postseason are pitching like the 2 best Game 1 starters in this postseason.

 

I'm following along at work via Gamecast (and refreshing like a mother here), and that first pitch by Kluber was plenty outside. He's already good enough, expanding the strike zone is damn-near unfair. Has the blue at least been consistent?

* Disregard the nevermind, it looks like Kluber is just mowing us down faster than I can type, That was the first pitch to Springer. Hot damn!
