The bulls and bears in this thread are both right to some extent. Let's get most of our guys back from the DL and see what happens. Thankfully, Altuve and Springer are back this week, so we should have an idea pretty quickly. There may be an opportunity to improve at the waiver deadline or maybe not. The concern is completely warranted but give it a little more time. The new win streak starts tonight anyway.
Pettis looked stiff on that windmill...I know he hasn't had to use it recently but maybe he hasn't been practicing in-between games. I don't want him to get hurt too.
Sure, its early.. but Carlos Correa took over a game (like you said he hadn't been able to a few hours ago). I'll take that blind squirrel on my team. If you want to dismiss the 23 year old all star, that's your prerogative.
HOUSTON STRONG! Gurriel keeps delivering with RISP. Is he still the leader in "clutch" hits? I know he had been slumping for a while, but I doubt his AVG w/ RISP has gone down too much since he hasn't had many opportunities lately with how our offense had been.
God Eschenfelder is so lame. I love Kalas shouting "and he gets into one deep to ____ field" so enthusiastically.
It would be "sooo awesomes" if today marked the closest a division opponent came for season's remain.
Sweet, they're back!!! How we missed the confidence and swagger very much. Whatever Altuve said worked. Keep fighting!
