my 17 years will be on 4th, time flies indeed i started off as the one that took pics with the RPD, got too old for that after a few years, then doing groups for suites and a few playoff games, and now just mostly a lurker, say something here and there, and confirm that you are wrong on the identity of @cyberx Met a TON of people on here, some I talk on daily basis even some that know my family beyond my thousands of cousins. Had seasons tickets with a good amount of people on here with @Kam left still standing. here's to many more years to experience
Wow, I thought that 17 years was a lonnnng time and then I realized that I've been around for 16 myself. Time does indeed fly.
Today is my Official 10 year mark. I wonder how long until I am regarded as an 2000'er. This has and will always be my favorite website to visit.
I remember the first time, in 2001 or so, that I was going to meet some rando bbs'ers and shoot hoops. My GF at the time was terrified that I was going to get robbed or raped or something. She was crazy like that (hot but crazy). Met @Kam and @rockHEAD and @red and @Wink3Cat5? (short whitey could dunk!) that day, great times, and one guy drove all the way up from South Texas to play ball, and we ran for about an hour and then we quit and drank my 12 pack of Shiner and watched him shoot jumpers by himself. Didn't get raped.
I'm a member of the 17 year club as well and likely to be the most prolific lurker on clutchfans. Joined my senior year of college, can't believe it's been that long. Will see if I can hit 20 years with under 20 posts

2003 or so, a different bbs full court time, @Behad had reserved the gym at his neighborhood school, thirty or so of us were there, all age groups. I got to see @Rockets2K hit a full skyhook from the right corner of the 3-pt line with a guy in his face. Not everyone can do that. Before we went inside we got baked in the parking lot, and it took me 2 trips or so up and down the court for me to stop feeling lightheaded and my brain from going "WAHWAHWAH " Then I played really well. Made a couple of the greatest passes of my post-HS life, and I was just ****ing around at one point, got the ball checked back at the top of the key, so I took the shot, started waiting to run it back for real..."Uh, that was game point." I had no idea. Game 3 or so it was decreed that all the old guys (older than 30, which I thought was discriminatory), versus the youngsters. Youngsters ran us out of the gym. I hit a 3 at some point in game 1, Kam took me down with the Bowen step-under-the-foot move as I'm wearing a Donjoy brace on my newly rebuilt knee, @Behad yelled from the sideline "AND THE FOUL". The Kam did block the everlivingsh!t out of one of my attempted layups later that day, I'll give him that. Good times, I liked Behad, who was gracious enough to set the whole thing up and invite us to his home. We ate very good BBQ on the back porch of his house after that. FattyFat was there, Hangout Boy and others....
