This is a move for financial reasons. I suspect it means the Rockets are not going to have to give up a pick too. Rockets should do this in a heartbeat to get Ryan out of here. Rockets will only play J.R in non critical situations. He also could very well be traded again by deadline by Morey.

In December , Rockets can trade J.R to the Hawks for Bazemore. This takes the contract of Bazemore off the Hawk's books and they get an expiring deal of J.R. Win win for both teams.

I was actually thinking of sending waiters to the kings for shumpert too. i bet that shumpert idea happens no matter what the ryno trade is. wherever we send ryno we probably get back 2 smaller contracts, and one of them can go to the kings.

I still think we end up with Bazemore or Batum.

    Right.
Except for nearly every player of consequence that Morey has ever acquired that is.

    Best outcome for who?

Why is trading for a bad player on an expiring contract good for the team or us as fans? It will save Tilman money next year when he expires and we still don't have cap space, but it doesn't help the team in any way.

The best outcome is someone like Bazemore or another player who would absolutely be a rotation player.

If TIlman approves trading Ryno for Bazemore I'll be ecstatic.

I mean it is possible to have higher or lower IQ on different sides of the floor. Either way I think JR smith being a poor defender has more to do with him being a low IQ player overall, just my opinion.

    Give me...

    Kent Bazemore
    James Johnson
    Marvin Williams

    In that preference order.

Keep JR Smith the hell away from Houston.

So has Tristan Thompson. I don't want him either.

We could use Tristan to KO Draymond again.

You’re interpreting it wrong, whenever the media ‘breaks’ a story, 90% of the time it’s just Morey dipping his toes in the water.

They shot more long 2s in 59 seconds than James Harden shot the entire season. Gotta send Melo the Moreyball pamphlet.

He had a clutch 8 points to start the 3rd in Game 7 when the Cavs won

    That’s all I got
