fwiw: per the CBA, bonuses are considered "likely to be achieved" and count as player salary, if they were achieved in the previous year.*
    1. Both the WCF and DRB% were achieved last year, so they are classified as "likely to achieve."
    2. Free throws are "Unlikely"
    3. The classification is reassessed each year.
@BimaThug Can you speak to what will be Capela's Trade Value based upon those incentives, should we ever have to trade him in the next 5 yrs. Specifically, do "likely" incentives increase his trade value that the other team must match or cover with cap room? And, if so, will that $1m WCF team performance incentive be easy to avoid in trade matching, by shipping him to a non-contender?

    * (In certain circumstances, an independent "expert" can be asked to assess the likeliness, differently than the exactitude of the "previous year" measure....like if the player was injured.)

The perfect mix of offense and defense

I personally feel that the Melo pick up is super underrated

We will always have 2 players on the court who can create there own shots

I think we will see an increase in Clint minutes to around 30 mins a night

Melo will be around 28 mins (7 mins a quarter with a strong emphasis on active hands on defense)

    Tucker 28 mins

Gordon 28 mins (6th man of the year this year)

    Harden 32 mins

Paul 28 mins (to keep him healthy for playoffs and remainder of his contract)

Green/Ennis 12 mins (we go with green for offense we go with ennis for defense)

That's our 7/8 man rotation come playoff time: With one of CP3 Capela and Tucker on the floor at all times to lead defense

MCW/NENE/MELTON/ANDERSON 3/4 mins a game in the regular season with a chance to earn more time

Great deal for us . Great deal for Clint . 80-90 mil over 5 years is great ... and he will still be young enough for another big contract if he outplays this one .

Can we please start a thread about what an overpriced contract this is. I'm worried that Capela will read this board and feel hosed.

If he reads this forum then he should know a good faith offer is 3 years $40 million with a player option on the 3rd.

So this is exactly the contract that Feigan reported the Rockets offered that prompted the “agent furiously calling around the league” response.

I hate to say it but that’s pretty terrible representation. Originally I thought the deal turned from 5/80-90 to 5/90 guaranteed. But the agent can’t even get that aspect of the deal negotiated more favorable for his client.

He's reduced to a non-factor in the Playoffs against Golden State. He should be paid around $5millions/yr. Against Cousins, his factor will be a BIG ZERO again.

After this contract is over, predict where will Capela stand amongst all-time European greats??? My guess is he will be near the top 10

Dirk, Parker, Gasol, Gasol, Antetokoumpo, Porzingis
    CAPELA, Gobert, Jokic, Sabonis, Schrempf
    Stojakovic, Smits, Kukoc, Batum, Kirilenko

Clint Capela who grew up in a orphanage, his mother couldn't afford to keep him and thought Clint can have better Schooling. His Father left his Mom, Clint didn't have Father around him. Clint and his Mom are close, she just wanted a Future for Clint.
Clint motivation was that moment. Clint and his Mom always meet each other. Clint was going to school in the orphanage. Played soccer and as he grew taller he tried basketball, Working Out, getting in better shape every year, improving his skills and became one of the best Centers in the NBA.
    Congratulations Clint, You deserve it.

Hey the contract is signed now. What you really need to worry about is 3 years from now when he is like the 22nd highest paid center and dominating folks.

    WOW WOW WOW

    MOREY IS THE BEST

Is there any doubt who is the BEST GM in the game right now???

He got CP3 to take only 4 years instead of the 5 years
He got Clint to take the 5 years instead of only 4 years and only for $80 millions.

Dude is making less than Tristan Thompson!!!! In 3 years, Clint's contract is going to look like what Curry's contract was when he signed for $48 millions.

    This is unbelieveable.

    MOREY IS THE GREATEST

    BEST SUMMER EVER

    CP3 and CLINT #RUNITBACK

    START THE SEASON ALREADY!!

and Screw Melo. Prove me wrong bro
