We talking about Caron Butler ? Certainly not talking about Jimmy who is on the Wolves and are currently in negotiations with Towns to give a max contract

Yes, if we can secure Norgueira from free agency......to go with Hartenstein/Zhou Qi/ Nene at Center

Our (Rockets) offense and defense would be so good.

Jon Horst would def. throw in Thon Maker to sweeten the deal. DM would have no choice but to accept.

Me too. Sounds like Capela wants too much.

Just replace Ryan Anderson in the trade with Capela. We will take Taj off their hands. He had a PER of 15 and about
12 pts/gm. Throw in some picks to T-Wolves. Bring Mr. Jimmy back to Houston.

What’s with all the KAT comments? He plays some soft ass perimeter Charmin center. Capela is dive and dunk. Not really stepping on each other’s toes there

No, I would not. His injuries bother me, and he doesn't play any defense.

Yes. I love Capela, but if the goal is to beat GSW wing help is more important. I’d grab him with the Hope boogie doesn’t play next year.

But it would take 3 teams. Cuz they gots the Kat

What is the obsession with Butler? How does he add more value to our team than Capela?

Butler is good, but not that ****ing good.

I would give away a bag if chips to offload OP.

    Step 1: *add poll*
    Step 2: *list options*
    Step 3: *quit posting threads*

Cleverly disguised "do you understand basketball?" thread. Hint: if you said yes, you don't understand basketball.

You can't make trades in a vacuum. It's not all about gathering big name players, you need a balanced team. I have been rallying for Jizzy Buckets from the jump but Capela is our rim protector/vertical threat. This is a trade that would never be considered by either team. Not sure why I even bothered posting here, but it really grinds my gears when OP makes an obvious poll thread without a poll.

I would have done it last year but not this year. GS signing Cousins is a difference maker. We actually need a skilled defensive center now. Hopefully Cousins will get in there and clog up the paint. That could have a negative impact on what Donkey likes to do and relegate their guards to jump shooters. Kerr is a smart guy though and will probably figure out how to make it work for everyone.

Lot's of big egos on that GS team though. Fingers crossed that a huge rift develops and they end up like the Rockets the last year Dwight was here.

Not after Capela signed his fair deal, not after Butler didn't list us as a team he'd guarantee to re-sign with.
