I’m not here to bash you and I want to believe, however, I’m not sure how viable #4 is. In order to sign an 1+1, LeBron would have to opt out and then sign. As we all know, LeBron to Houston ain’t happening if he opts out. So really, if LeBron and his camp wanted to have their cake and eat it too, they should opt-in and either get to Houston or kick this FA can down the road and do this again next year. I guess we’ll find out Friday.
Me: "oh **** some more LeBron to Houston news, yesss totally rad" My heart: "**** you dude im out this is annoying"
There is allegedly a Suns trade coming which is rumored to indicate that Lebron is definitely leaving Cleveland. (via Tim Tompkins twitter, whoever that is) If his decision is made before the 29th of June, then there is a good chance it means he's opting in. Which - from what I've read here - is almost certainly the only way we could acquire him.
Ya'll sure do like to jump to conclusions. He'll get his money (eventually), I just believe it will not be in OKC. PG has had his heart on going to LA for over a year. I'll be very surprised if he suddenly feels that OKC is the place to be, especially knowing they have little to no chance to improve the team for years to come if he signs a max deal there. Also, as I understand he could sign a three year deal in LA, with the third year being a player option and, unless I am mistaken, he can then sign a max contract as a 10 year vet in 2020 thus making more than he would have in OKC.
conclusions. its pretty much a given, hes going to get more than was his salary would be if he opted in. thats not jumping to conclusions, its called understanding the actual concept
Here's another concept. Reading comprehension. I clearly said he will get his money, but I don't think it will be in OKC.
