I've tried googling this and can't find a definitive answer. Don't want to use the wrong thing and ruin my screen (which has fingerprints and dust all over it).

I personally like this stuff. I bought it for my Mom and Dad. I clean their TVs with it regularly when I visit.

Make sure you are not just using any old cloth to clean your TV with. You should preferably use one made for cleaning screens.

I would pour water directly into the electrical outlet that its plugged into. The steam that comes off of that, makes for a magical cleaning solution.

Just use a microfiber cloth, that's the key. Otherwise you could scratch the screen.

Don't use Windex. Use something you'd clean glasses with. It's a combination of water, soap, and alcohol. Windex will destroy the anti-reflective coating on your TV.

Take off and nuke the entire TV from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

This is pretty much isopropyl alcohol solution and possibly a microfiber cloth.

Water will smudge and not dissolve the grease.

Yup. I use Screen Mom on my screens. No problems here.

If you have any Apple products, use these for the screen instead:
