I just found an article mentioning Rudy's quitting drinking alcohol. Is Rudy still abstaining?

In the summer of 1998, just after the draft, Tomjanovich was admitted to hospital after suffering what amounted to a stress-related breakdown.

He missed the Olympic qualifying tournament in Puerto Rico and then drastically changed his life. He slowed down. He stopped drinking alcohol of any kind. He stopped trying to change the world.

he coaches drunk all the time so i don't see why he couldn't drive and get away with it.

I think Rudy drove drunk in '94. Hey, everybody deserves to get caught once- but only once.
